one <u>MATCH AND MOVE</u>. Each player has four pcs. [pieces] (either same
color four different shapes, or same shape four
different colors - can't remember which). These
are started in the outside rows. In the
center 6 x 6 section each square is marked
with a shape and color in different combinations.
The outer rows are also marked with
shapes and colors which, I believe, tie down
the starting spaces for the pcs.

[Diagram of a 6 x 6 game board that has an additional row/ column of four centered around all four edges. 52 spaces in total.]

A pc. moves like a <u>CHESS</u> king, but only
to a space with matching color or shape.
Object is to get 4 across first. <br>
House of Games - Waddington : - Met <u>Alfons Rubbens</u> who was
a little bit apologetic about the problem over getting back
<u>FREE FORM</u> last year. <u>Earl <s>Dough</s> Doherty</u> of <u>GAMEWAYS</u>
(see 1971) is now his partner and they develop their own games.  <br>
<u>4000 A.D.</u> - gave me a copy for review in ''<u>S & T</u>''.  <br>
<u>CHESSWORD</u> - Copied info. [information] but Rubbens is supposed to send me
one for review.  <br>
<u>SPECULATE</u> - (This was developed at Waddington and was invented
by someone from South Africa). Copied some of the info. but
Rubbens is supposed to send a review copy.  <br>
Rubbens was interested in the possibility of Simulations, Inc.
selling <u>4000 A.D.</u> mail order and i gave him <u>Jim Dunnigan</u>'s
number. Also told him about ''<u>BOOK WORLD</u>''  and he took <u>Tincher</u>'s
number. Also gave him a copy of ''<u>S & T</u>'', #30 I think, and
the ''<u>BOOK WORLD</u>'' with my column.  <br>
Told him about Xerox and he'd like to be in it. He'll call me
before April 20th about coming to see it. In addition to the
review copies, he will send me <u>4000 A.D.</u> and <u>CHESSWORD</u>. I didn't
think that <u>SPECULATE</u> would be visual enough.  <br>
Picked up a folder for <u>SPIN & SPELL</u> - children's but nice equip't. [equipment] (Filed in '72 Misc. [1972 miscellaneous])
When I got home Felicia called. <u>Anthony Longo</u> of S. & R. [Selchow and Righter] sicced
a nut on her. He has a <u>GAME</u> for which he wants $250,000.
Longo tried to get Felicia to tell him who in 3M is in charge.
Just in case he might call me, she doesn't want me to mention
any names. <br>
