25 FRIDAY - FEBRUARY 1972
56TH DAY - 310 DAYS TO COME
Felicia called. Hallmark lost the rules for HALF AND HALF.
(Connor Barrett's) and it will take too long to send to
Connor for them. I looked and finally found them in 1967
Diary. (1/18). Called and told Lillian Voegelin what I had
on it. She was able to reconstruct from this. Lillian has
been going over the material Felicia has and will help her
showing things next week.
Felicia told me that Lou Zeller is coming in for the Toy Fair.
Bill Caruson will be in for the Stationery Show.
Claude called. At gift show he saw Stewart Kaplan of
U.S. Game Systems. Stewart was interested in WATCH. I told
Claude about Michael Dummett's suspicion of Stewart over
the book on TAROK.
At Gift Show Claude saw a "gangster" GAME trying to cash in
on the publicity for THE GODFATHER GAME. He thought I knew
it and didn't get the info.
Rcd. a bill from Random House for $65 for 100 copies of AGOG.
Rcd. from Al Richter a set of rules for games and puzzles using the TRY-ANGLES
equipment. The games are TRY-ANGLES, TRY-HEX, TRY-ARA,
TRY-NOT, TRY-FIVE, TRY-BRIDGE, TRY-ONO, TRY-MINI, TRY-LAST,
TRY-KAYLES.
Played LOTTERY with BB and Dale using the new dice. They
worked fine. We stopped when it was obvious that Dale had won.
Decided to allow a player who owes money to have a "last chance lottery".
If he doesn't win it, he is out of game.
(cont. from 2/26) [2/28]
a month.
