53RD DAY - 313 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. [received] a letter from Jim Scully. Mentioned FORESIGHT and PLAYTHINGS. (He is married!)

Rcd. a letter from K.A. Michaelson. There was a mistake in the BAZAAR royalty. We were overpayed $3,874.71. ($2,906.03 ours and $968.68 Felicia's). It will be taken out of our next payment.
Since there was no mention from Michaelson about the error in my 1099 form I sent him a certified letter with a return receipt.

Called Bob Hallowell about the pencil & paper games. He said that his designer, Fred Feucht, would be calling me to set a date to get together and try out the games and pick one to complete art work on - probably DRILL FOR OIL - with a name such as WILDCAT.
I asked Bob about MANHATTAN MADNESS. It is probably definitely a dead issue. Forgot to ask him about getting my model back.
Fred Feucht called and I'll go to his office Thursday at 1:30.

Felicia called. Bill Dohrmann of Parker is coming to her office at 9 tomorrow morning. She never met him and was very nervous. She asked if I would come in and she would pay me. I told her I'd come but that I didn't want to be payed. Decided to argue about it later. I'll bring some of my things to show.

Rcd. a call from

They are working on some kind of study of games on a government grant and she was told that I had a bigger collection of games than any other (didn't know where the information originally came from). She was interested in my classification system and thought perhaps I could be a consultant for them. I'll contact her after Toy Fair. She was glad that I mentioned it and will go herself. I asked if she was familiar with the book THE GUIDE TO SIMULATION GAMES FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING. Yes.

Packaged SKYSCRAPERS (with a plastic cover). Packaged DIALEMMA and made setups for 9 puzzles. Had Dana cover the SMESS box and used it for LOTTERY without anchoring the equipment.

Had Dale and Phil pick up plastic and cardboard for me at the art supply place in Cross County.
