Rcd. a telephone call
Rcd. a telephone call from <u>Conrad Schwarz</u> (see8/25/70 & 2/18/71).  <br>
He has a game <u>WORLD POWER</u> which is based on the use of  <br>
natural resources in a struggle between nations. He asked for  <br>
<u>Felicia</u>'s address again and I gave him information on her terms.
 
Started working on a layout for the Xerox <s>exibit</s> exhibit. I  <br>
don't think there is enough material to fill up the space.
 
Thinking of ideas for greater skill version of <u>MASTERPIECE</u>. When  <br>
a player lands on a space with a dollar value he can, instead  <br>
of following the directions, buy a painting from any opponent for  <br>
that amount. Later thought - throw dice; if 7 or less pay 1x  <br>
the amount; if more than 7 pay 2x.

<u>NOSTALGIA</u> is doing quite well.  <br>
A company in California not currently in the game business  <br>
has commisioned her company to do 12 games to be  <br>
ready for the stationery show. She can't say their name.  <br>
She saw <u>Mary Hilt</u> at the show (where?) and bought a  <br>
copy of <u>TRANSFORMATION</u>. She also bought a number of  <br>
other games. // I told Gini that Stancraft's performance was dismal.  <br>
She is thinking of running game reviews in her  <br>
club newspaper and asked how to get copies of games.  <br>
Told her to contact the P.R. people.  <br>
Pressman doesn't have anything new in games this year  <br>
and seems to be just about out of the game field. Tho  <br>
they have licensed <u>OH FUDGE</u> abroad.
 
When I spoke to <u>Bob Gellman</u> he mentioned that <u>Gini</u>  <br>
had been there with a series of "talk" games. He  <br>
was interested in one but she wanted to place them  <br>
as a set. He said she was very nervous.  <br>
