Rcd. NOST-ALGIA #141. Had rules for GRID CHESS,
a review of the Dover edition of A GUIDE TO FAIRY CHESS,
a new puzzle CRISS-CROSS, a mention of KNIGHT CHARGE
(pg. 13) and CYLINDRICAL REVERSI (pg. 21), and BLUE AND GRAY
(pg.21).
Rcd. a xeroxed letter, sent to about 20 colleagues, asking me
for reviews of one or more games to be used in the next
edition of THE GUIDE TO SIMULATION GAMES FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING.
Rcd. a letter from Lou Zocchi. He forgot his previous question
in ACQUIRE and didn't understand my answer. He would
like to contact Felicia and outlined 4 games : A "Stock
Market" GAME; BATS IN THE BELFRY, FORMULA ONE GRAND PRIX,
and TEAMSTER.
He sent me his BATTLE OF BRITAIN - 2nd Revision and suggested
my trading him an autographed copy of AGOG for that and
his upcoming game STAR TREK.
Sent the copy of AGOG out from the post office.
Wrote to Phil Cohen thanking him for the booklet
CHALLENGE & DELIGHT OF CHESSICAL & DECIMAL and sent him
the CHESS variation from ALBION Magazine.
Wrote to Mike Abrams about SUCCESSION (now BLOCK 'N SCORE).
Suggested sending a review copy to THE MATHEMATICS TEACHER
and other similar Magazines. Asked him to have Dr. Shirts
send me a review copy. Sent him copies of my columns with
COMBINATION, VECTOR, THE BLACKS & WHITES GAME, et. al.
Wrote to Lou Zocchi in answer to today's letter.
