Playing around with <u>AIR BATTLE</u>. Played with BB on a 12 x 9 field with
4 airstrips : - 2 long (1 plane), 3 long (1 planes), 4 long (2 planes), 5
long (2 planes). Also 3 factories : - 2 long, 4 long, 6 long, (each
producing 1 plane). Also 6 guns. It was rather slow moving. Worse,
the factories and guns were rather meaningless. Only twice was I
reduced one plane because I lost more than my factories produced.


The ''New York <u>TIMES</u> Magazine'' Section had an article on
<u>THE GREAT MONEY GAME</u>. The cover had a pseudo game based on the

<u>Herb Roth</u> has a new game <u>HAT IN THE RING</u>, put out by
"Changing Times Education Service" (Kiplinger). It sells for $10.
We checked but Herb was not there [illegible crossed out] to look at it.

I asked about <u>BODY TALK</u>. Herb told Felicia to tell
my correspondent to order it from Macy's.  <br>
Someone sent Felicia a copy of <u>Paul Schulman</u>'s article in
the ''<u>HACKENSACK RECORD</u>'' (1/16). She, <u>Lillian Voegelin</u>, and I
were quoted to some length. Schulman promised to send
her four copies, but hasn't so far.  <br>
Felicia mentioned to <u>Bob Gellman</u> that we didn't have a
contract yet and he said that it took time but should be
ready soon, not to worry.  <br>
He also said that <u>JET HOLIDAY</u> was already in production.
I said that I hadn't given him the latest layout of
cities and routes. She'll contact him.
<u>Felicia</u> called in the evening. After I left <u>Herb Roth</u> spoke to
her and told her that Research Games was dropping
<u>MOVIE MOGULS</u> and owed Ken Morgan money for royalties. I
told her that Ken had told me about. She was angry that
I hadn't told her and I said that I respect other people's
confidences the same as I respect hers. Later she
apologized.  <br>
Herb Roth wants to take over <u>MOVIE MOGULS</u> and wants
her to go in with him. She wants no part of it.

At G. & R. took a copy of <u>SHRINK</u>. Asked <u>Mr. Reidel</u> about
<u>HAAR HOOLIM PERCEPTION GAMES</u> and he said they are
catching on, especially in education.
