14 FRIDAY - JANUARY 1972
14TH DAY - 352 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. a question on sports games addressed to and forwarded
by S & T. From Donald Mah in Canada.

Rcd. a call from Al Richter. We'll visit them on
1/21. He is looking for a job in engineering, although
he still has hopes that Felicia will sell some of his things.

Thinking about AIR BATTLE during day and playedit
with Phil Laurence in the evening; that is we started
but it was just too hard to keep track with the
complications of 4 air fields, 3 factories and 7 guns.
I'll have to simplify it.
At Laurence's played FOREIGN INTRIGUE, including Elliot
and his friend (who won). Again it played well and
everyone liked it.
Decided to eliminate the "Remain" cards. They don't
introduce enough to make it worth explaining.
At Laurence's played one round of BRIDGE, actually CHICAGO,
Phil and me against Elliot and his friend. Phil & I won,
but not by a runaway.
