has been changed. Reiss will see the new one shortly. He will  <br>
bring the hand made sample which is not as good looking as  <br>
the final printed product, but still good looking.  <br>
I asked about <u>NINE OF SWORDS</u>. He is sending a check for around  <br>
$800 to <u>Phil Orbanes</u>. This covers (I understand) the period  <br>
of Sept., Oct., and Nov. '71.

advance and 125 books for me. She said it really wasn't their  <br>
problem and I told her of my visit to Miriam Norton yesterday.  <br>
She then told me that Tom Lowry was the one in charge of  <br>
subsiduary rights, and she transferred me to him. He also said that it  <br>
was Fabio's responsibility and I said Fay transferred me. He  <br>
laughed and said they're all lazy, but he'll look into it.  <br>
Fay called me back a little later to say that I would get an  <br>
advance of $250, but it would come with my summer royalty  <br>
report. However she found out that I was getting $1200 for my  <br>
upcoming royalty. I said I was amazed since I was be-  <br>
