Spoke to <u>Red</u>.
Spoke to <u>Red</u>. He is just finishing the pasteup of ''<u>S & T</u>'' #31.
April 7 is O.K. for my column #32.  <br>
Took the following, some for possible use at Xerox exhibit:
''<u>MOVES</u>'' (#1); ''<u>S & T</u>'' #26 and 3 - #29; <u>NAPOLEON AT WATERLOO</u>.

To <u>Earl</u>'s. <u>Claude</u> there already. Earl insisted on treating us
to a Chinese meal at Hing Hing restaurant.  <br>
Started to play 3-hand game of <u>4000 A.D.</u> but
Claude wasn't feeling well. He napped while Earl and
I played. Instead of each using 2 home stars and
fleets as specified in the rules we each used only one.
And it still was rather complicated to use the warps.  <br>
Earl and I played a game of <u>HEXAGO</u> (see 3/18)
while Claude looked at books. Earl took the inventor's
name & address & will write to him.
The three of us played <u>WILDCAT</u> and it played well.  <br>
Claude bought a book - ''<u>GROWTH GAMES</u>'' for $1.50 and asked
Earl & me if he should get us copies. Yes.

During day rcd. [received] a package from Parker with <u>SMESS</u>,  <br>
<u>LANDSLIDE</u>, <u>MASTERPIECE</u>, <u>AVALANCHE</u>, <u>MONOPOLY</u> (French).
Also rcd. <u>THE GREAT DOWNHILL SKI GAME</u> from Franklin.

In the morning before I left, rcd. call from <u>Jules
Cooper</u> in answer to mine of 3/17. Told him about the
info in ''<u>HOW TO PLAY GO</u>''. He thanked me. <br>
I asked if he had sent the games yet. No, but he'll
be sure that I get them in time.  <br>
I told him I probably would have a game to show him
in a few months.

At G. & R. I told the secretary I'd take <u>RICOCHET</u> for Xerox
since she had tried to push the Kontrell games in the past.
However, they have discontinued handling them and are just
waiting for the samples to be picked up.
