Stanley Chess called while I was out. He was supposed to call
back, but didn't. He is an AGOG reader who wrote to me.

Filled in the numbers on the NO WAY diagram and BB got
15 repros at Boston Road. Playing around with it. Then
showed it to Phil Laurence and Elaine. Both came up with
impossible set ups - using 6 forbidden combinations and
not allowing a number to be revisited.

neurosis cards themselves to settle with. (A lot of the
ideas were mine.)
Showed NEWTOWN, telling Wexler that I had ideas for
changing the values of the buildings and probably eliminating
the churches for stores. He told me not to bother. His
real estate GAME is something like MONOPOLY so
would conflict. He has also done a word GAME and
an abstract GAME based on color and design.
He said that his games were O.K. but not outstanding. Of
the ones we gave him he thinks that Claude's
auction GAME, the Amberstone's THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD
(COURIER), and my HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME are
outstanding.
He said that the NEWTOWN idea would make a good
game for young children. I mentioned BAZAAR and
he said it was one of his favorite games.
I told him that in FUN CITY the "Power Index" should
be in the center of the board. He realized this.
I mentioned that his BLACK AND BLUE was in the
childcraft catalog. When Claude and I walked to the one
near Alexander's we met Wexler on the way. The new
games aren't in yet.
