Rcd. $100 check from Scribner's for reading AMERICA'S GAME BOOK.
Rcd. X'Mas cards from Eugene Primoff, Michael Dummett, and Paul Greenough.

Bob Hallowell called for help in assembling HABITAT. Had trouble giving it to him on the phone and I believe I may have an error in my record of where the letters are placed.
He is going to Bob Reiss with HABITAT next Monday morning with HABITAT and FUN CITY. I offered to come down to put it together and to sit in. Bob said that he had to do so eyeball to eyeball talking with Reiss. Also with the help I did give him he thinks he can do it.
I asked him to call me if he has any hand news. He'll be going to Phil Orbanes in the afternoon & I'll call him there.
I told him of the broken swords in NINE OF SWORDS. He said it happens occasionally and they have replacement swords they send out. I'll pick them up when I see him to go over pencil and paper GAMEs early next year.

Edson mentioned that he had lisenced something to Hallmark. I told him that I had a number of things with them. He said that it will be a long time before they will be coming out.

When I spoke to Bob Hallowell about a date for the P&P games he said it should be at my convenience - he needs me more than I need him. I said that we need each other.
