Felicia was thinking that she could submit Lillian Voegelin's game of FOUR LETTER WORDS or ALTER EGOS as a "Knowledge" game. I looked at it for the first time and it is only for a maximum of 4 players. There is a timin gadget with four colors which __ sounds at the end of each color. The player chosen to go first chooses a four letter word as the ___ pointer is in his color, ___ reads it aloud, and all the players write it down on a pad provided with lines ____ under on another alternating between the four colors. From then on players must call out a new four letter word changing one letter from the previous word, without alternating the order. A proper word must be called while the pointer is in the player's area. If a word is not called that ___ line is left blank. Play, I believe, until the entire pad is used. Words are scored as follows: Correct word - 5 point, plus one point for each incorrect word or blank line that preceded it, if any. A word that is spelled wrong, or changes the order of the letters, or is too long, or was used before counts -10 and is ignored by the next player, who must play to the last correct word. (I told Felicia that I was afraid that in succeeding games there might be a tendency to repeat the same word sequences.)

Herb told Felicia that Dynamic is coming out with three new games :- CAPITAL HILL, NUTRITION, and DRUG ADDITION.

Gary Sherbell has been bugging Felicia. I told her that I tried to get him off her neck when he called yesterday. I said not to.

I told Felicia I was going to write to Keith about "Knowledge Game." She offered to phone but to Brentano's. Spoke to Henry Levy. Asked for a Brentano's catalog. They are all gone, but he expects that some with wrong addresses will come back and he'll send one to me.
