To <u>Felicia</u>'s. Brought her the revised <u>SPELLBINDER</u>.  <br>
<u>Jac Freidght</u>, V.P. of First National City Bank <s>was there</s>  <br>
came with his game <u>HIGH FINANCE</u> or <u>GOLD</u>. Altho he had  <br>
a very rough model I thought that the game had merit.  <br>
Felicia will handle it after he has a model made.  <br>
Players win by obtaining 7 bars of gold. These are auctioned  <br>
periodically. I brought up the problem of one player having  <br>
6 bars when an auction came. Who will outbid him, possibly  <br>
at the expense of his own chances? He hadn't considered  <br>
this, but will think about it.  <br>
He left a set of rules, which Felicia gave to me. I  <br>
added some notes on the board to the rules.  <br>
Felicia had some of <u>Rael Cowan</u>'s games there:  <br>
<u>BREAD</u> - A complicated gambling game with some of the  <br>
aspects of <u>21</u>, except that the player <s>also</s> draws a  <br>
number at random to set his goal. (Didn't get the details.)  <br>
<u>POWER AND PUPPET</u> - A strategy game with each player  <br>
having a "Power" and 2 "Puppets" which have different  <br>
moves. Object is to capture the opposing "Power". (Didn't  get the details,  <br>
but it looked awful.) <br>
<u>ZEC-HI</u> - Took along a copy of his new rules, incorporating  <br>
the changes Felicia said Hallmark suggested.  <br>
She showed me their letter and the way I read it all  <br>
it said was that they couldn't understand the rules  <br>
& if they were fixed up, they would take a look at it again.  <br>
I'll <s>Felicia</s> look at the rules and return them.  <br>
Felicia says she'll probably drop Rael. He thinks his games  <br>
are marvelous, when they're not.  <br>
To <u>Earl Perel</u>'s. <u>Claude</u> joined us. Played 3 hand  <br>
<u>CAVEAT EMPTOR</u>. It was fum but a little too much luck.  <br>
Blocked out a letter on him for me to send to Small Business Admin.  <br>
At <u>Felicia</u>'s <u>Herb</u> brought in a reprint from ''<u>NEWSDAY</u>'' (a  <br>
recent Saturday according to an article in ''New York'' Mag.).  <br>
Felicia made some notes and gave it to me. It  <br>
mentions the following: <u>WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?</u>, <u>CONFRONTATION</u>,  <br>
