At McHugh Brothers in Yonkers saw : CAN-DOO (Aurora) - There are
15 (I believe) plastic
15 (I believe) plastic cans with different labels. These are
stack in a 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 pile. A pack of cards matching the
labels is shuffled. Players in turn draw one and then must
remove the can they draw. If they cause one other can to
fall they get some penalty (I believe) but the game continues.
If the whole pile falls the round is finished with
some greater penalty.
TENSION (Kohner). Players have discs of different colors. There
is a board with round openings which show different
colors [illegible crossed out] after a revolving part comes to rest. There is
a different window which indicates the color for that
round. As soon as players see the color for the round
they try to place their discs of that color in the opening of the
color. There is one less opening of the proper color than there
are players so the one left out loses points. When less then [than] 4
play some windows are covered by black discs. (Rough idea.)

Played LOTTERY with BB & Dale. We all liked it and were
disappointed that we didn't have time to finish it.
We decided that the prices went up too quickly at the
higher end. Started working out a schedule in which
a new office increases the price by 80% instead of
100%. Also determined on a 45% increase in the starting
rate from color to color. When rounded to the nearest $100,
this amounts to the same starting values I had, but changes
[illegible crossed out] occurred with greater numbers of offices.

Play starts with four pcs. on the board as shown. Each
player has two more pcs. which are placed on the
board in turn. After this new pcs. are "generated" by
[illegible crossed out] movement. If the player has two completely
separated groups (not even touching diagonally) and is
able to move a pc. of one group so that it touches
a pc. of the other group orthogonally a new pc. is generated
which must be placed in one of the spaces either orthogonally
or diagonally next to the stationery part of the
generating pcs. (Al originally allowed it next to either
