Rcd. a letter from Frank Armbruster: Send POTENTIAL when I
get the chance. He will be doing either REVERSI or
NUMERICA as part of the "personality" series. He never rcd. the
set of PSYCHE-PATHS I sent him.
Rcd. a letter from Phil Cohen. He is making xeroxes on Boyer's.
NOUVEAUX JEUX D'ECHECS NON ORTHODOXES & LES JEUX DE DAMES NON ORTHODOXES.
He asked if I wanted copies.
He also has 2 extra copies of a German pamphlet on DYNAMO-SCHACH
and asked if I'd like one.
He sent rules for two of his CHESS variants, WELDING CHESS.
Rcd. a letter from Don Greenwood of PANZERFAUST. He would like a
review copy of AGOG.

Arthur called. After seeing Claude's THE PURLOINED LETTER
he and Wald came up with a word GAME of their own.
Wouldn't tell me anything about it, except to say that it
is very different. Maybe we'll get together at Eatl Perel's in
the near future and they'll show it.
Told Arthur that Felicia wanted him to provide a new frame for
POWUR.
Told Arthur about my coming up with a change in SPELLBINDER
after seeing THE PURLOINED LETTER.

Thinking about SPELLBINDER. Decided to add a minute timer
which the player grabs when he thinks he can make a word and which
gives him 1 minute to do it in.
