Felicia called. She rcd. the carbon of the letter from Jim Kraus
She thought it was encouraging, despite the reference to "our
profits". I told her I would prepare a more dimensional
model of WILD WOOD PILE. She has bben getting advice of what to ask for in the AGOG
paperback contract, if it goes thru, she will ask for $1500
advance and a straight 10% royalty, but will settle for less.
I told her of my bringing the letter to Random House yesterday.
She was glad that I had discovered it.
Told her that Claude wanted to bring Raymond Thursday. Of course
the material that Alphonse Rubbens took finally came back.
FREE FORM was rattling around in a box, but she thinks it is O.K.

Carl Eisenberg called. He is not doing SPELLBINDER. I told him
I'd pick it up Thursday.
He'd still like to do TANGLED WEB but doesn't think he can cost it
at under $10. He has a few more ideas to try however.
He is interested in TORTURE TOWER and thinks he can do it
for under $5. His attorney thinks there may be some patent
problems but will know more soon.
