He would like to do <u>TANGLED WEB</u> but can't get it done at a usable  <br>
price. He is still interested in <u>TORTURE TOWER</u>. Bob Reiss will  <br>
have to decide whether it is <s>way</s> too competitive with <u>QUINTESSENCE</u> .  <br>
<u>Bob Hallowell</u> is paying royalties on <u>QUINTESSENCE</u>, which surprised me  <br>
since it is in the public domain. In fact, the husband of Bob's  <br>
former secretary, who submitted it only had the circles different  <br>
colors and Bob (or his designer?) added the second color differences.  <br>
I suggested my checking on things for Bob H., Bob R., and Carl  <br>
to see if they were in public domain.  <br>
<u>Bob Reiss</u> wants to come to see my collection. Phil will arrange a  <br>
date sometime in August.  <br>
The royalty report for <u>NINE OF SWORDS</u> is not due till August 15th.  <br>
Phil doesn't think there will be sales of more than 1000. But he  <br>
thinks the next quarter will be much better.  <br>
Phil thinks that when I come up with new items the best thing  <br>
will be to show them to Bob Reiss first and, if he likes them,  <br>
he'll decide which company is best to do them.

Thought of another <u>PUZZLE</u>. There are  <br>
12 plastic pcs. (as shown) which are somewhat  <br>
similar to the pcs. in <u>TANGLE</u>. A base  <br>
is provided into which the pcs. are fitted.  <br>
As a <u>GAME</u> players in turn place any pc.  <br>
they wish. Player who can't place a pc. loses.  <br>
Was trying to set up the pcs. so that  <br>
all possible configurations of 4 segments are  <br>
