Rcd. NOST-ALGIA (June '71 - No. 134). Discussed <u>CHESSERS</u>
(2 varieties) and <u>CHESKERS</u>.
On a dress BB bought there was a belt made up of
[sketch to left of circle with four circular "holes"; sketch to right of circle with six circular "holes"]
pcs. as shown to left, with 4 holes. Thinking
of a <u>PUZZLE</u> idea with pcs. like at the
right with 6, or possible 7 holes, or colors
in the spaces of some of the holes.
Spoke to <u>Claude</u>. In Brooklyn he saw a math teacher (he
found out later) who was reading <u>''AGOG''</u> - a library copy. He
struck up a conversation.
Started copying the rules for <u>REVOLUTION</u> AND <u>COUNTERREVOLUTION</u>
on large index cards.

<u>Jim</u> is working with <u>Phil</u> on <u>THE NEXT PRESIDENT</u> as a favor,
with no cut. <u>Bob Reiss</u> very much likes his simulation
approach to the game and is sorry he didn't have him
do the whole thing. As it is the one who had the orig-
inal idea is also doing the manufacturing. Reiss is so
enthusiastic that he is sorry he didn't manufacturer
it himself. This may get him into board games.
When I asked about how <u>LUFTWAFFE</u> was doing I discovered
that Jim doesn't get anything on this. It is <u>Lou Zocchi</u>'s.
<u>ANZIO</u> is being dropped.
<u>ORIGINS OF WORLD WAR 2</u> will be ready by Sept.
A.H. may come out with a $25 deluxe version of <u>STRATEGY 1</u>.
Simulations Publications Corp. is now making some $100,000 a
year gross, compared to some $800,000 for A.H. Jim fig-
ures that <u>Eric Dott</u>, the boss of A.H. will get scared and
try to stop Simulations by sueing. <u>Tom Shaw</u> is a nice
guy, Jim said, but not very smart.

<u>Felicia</u> called while I was out and spoke to BB. Felicia
spoke to <u>Harry</u> this morning and she may have convinced him
to do a 2 to 3 hour program on my game collection.
In morning drew up new information cards for <u>SPECTRUM</u>
with the 4 being different. This didn't seem to make it
much more difficult when we played.
In my conversation [crossed out] with <u>Wald</u> he told me
