FRIDAY 28 MAY
1971 148th day - 217 days to come
Realized that my GAME idea of 4/17 was quite similar to
the 3M puzzle, JATI.
Rcd. a check for $250 from Brown & Bigelow for TRANSFORMATION.
Nothing for AIRLINE. Deposited check in checking account.
Rcd. a call from Joseph Weisbecker. He and Jean would like to visit
some Sunday with their children, 13 & 11 I think. He said
they'd take us to a restaurant but I said we'd have hamburgers
and hot dogs. He'll call again to set a date.
His royalties from FLEEP HOUSE and DECISIONS, DECISIONS are not
great. M.B. developed STAY ALIVE themselves but then realized
the similarities to DECISIONS, DECISIONS. They approached Cadaco
and proposed a royalty, which Joe & Cadaco are splitting.
THINK A DOT is now dead. So is E.S.R. The people from E.S.R.
took over Ed-U-Cards; now they are only keeping the latter.
Joe believes that Entex will be doing two of his games. One
involves placing pegs from two sides of a vertical board,
trying to push out opponents. GAMEs. Told him about Alex
Randolph and THE !@#C&*! GAME.
Schaper sends around a form letter to inventors with whom they have
had contact, specifying their needs. Joe rcd. one from them
and submitted 4 GAMEs of the DON'T SPILL THE BEANS type.
Arthur called to thank me for meeting with them yesterday at
Felicia's.
They have some other ideas for attempting to sell their games. He
didn't tell me where, and I didn't ask.
I asked whether he had the POWUR rules copied for me yet. He'll
do it tomorrow. He'll also have a lot of new things to show
me next time we get together.

buying a factory. They will be coming to see her to look at
new games in the beginning of June. I suggested GO SEE, but she
said they were looking for specific types, such as WINDOWS,
and also a risqué GAME. If they are interested in
puzzles Felicia will show them WILD WOOD PILE. I thought we
were going to send it back to 3M. (We didn't come to a definite
conclusion.)

next week to see how I stand.
Thought of a name for my X-word puzzle GAME.
X-CHANGE WORD.
