MONDAY 26 APRIL 1971

116th day - 249 days to come

From Claude I got three copies of SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN: May 1970, Dec. 1970, Mar, 1971 - The latter also had an article on "Unsolved Problems in Arithmetic" which I kept.
Claude also gave me the MINI-BOPPER (magnetic pendulum device) he had picked up for me.
(Paid $3.00 for the mags. and game.)

Made a board for PLANES, using the posts from TRI-TAC-TOE and the plexiglass Claude had bought for me.

Rcd. a letter from [bracket] Arthur B. Katz

Phila., Penna. 19152
(215) 677-1721
He and a friend have made up an Insurance GAME and want my advice in marketing it. He asked if there is a consulting fee.

Called Herb Siegel in Philadelphia. Not in and I told his son that I'd call tomorrow.

not crazy about it. // Mary is still crazy about DANGER STRAITS. I also will try to get WILD WOOD PILE to her next Tuesday. We both feel that it probably will be wiser to send it to Hallmark, rather than to 3M.
Told Felicia about my talk with Susan Calhoun of MONEY'S WORTH. She asked if I gave BALI a plug and I told her that I really pushed it. She thanked me.
Told Felicia about the article in DER SPIEGEL. She thinks it would be very important to send it to 3M. Told her I was working on getting a copy.
She asked me what I was doing about the GAME based on the "Bluffer's Guide to Wine." Told her that Bill Caruson's reply had been very lukewarm and that I wasn't working on it until I clear everything else up.

Phil gave me a copy of ASTRAL TAROT (Mont-Saint-Johns). Seems to be an old set, replaced by THE 9TH DIMENSION TAROT. Also the instruc- tions were missing.
Phil wanted the minimum moves for their TOWER OF TROUBLE. Found the answer in Kraitchik's MATHEMATICAL RECREATIONS.

Rcd. HEX'O'GRAM and TRIPLE TILT from Lakeside. Also another catalog.
