FRIDAY 2 APRIL
1971 92nd day - 273 days to come
Called Ken Morgan to see if he wanted to get together today.
He has an appointment to get together with a new distri-
buter for MOVIE MOGULS. He will contact me next week.
MOVIE MOGULS is selling very well.
The Motion Picture Relief Fund was very happy to except
a percentage of his royalties. They will inform all the colum-
nists.
Called Pete Swift about the rules of EL TABLERO DE JESÚS he
sent to me. Not in. Supposed to call back, but didn't.
Finished S&T column with capsule reviews of following
games: BLACK & BLUE GAME, BOUNDARY, CAVEAT EMPTOR, CHE,
COLOR QUAD GAME, COMPLETION, CONTROL!!!, COUNTERACT,
COUPLES, DECA-LOGIC GAME SYSTEM, EMOTE, ETHICS,
EXECUTIVE DECISION, FOUR SCORE, GOTCHA, HEX-O-GRAM,
KICK CHECK, MASTERPIECE, NEW TOWN, NIM-BALL QUAD GAME,
ORION, PERCEPTION, REBOUND, RECKON, REINCARNATION, RPM,
SCAN, SENTENCE CUBE GAME, SKORE, SLEUTH, SPACE VENTURE,
STAY ALIVE, SWING SWANG, TORNADO BOWL, VERBUM EST,
VERTIGO, WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?, !@#c&*! GAME. Also mentioned
the following as "still to come." - EVADE, BLARNEY, BRAINSTORM,
CAMPAIGN, ECOLOGY, NUMBERS UP, PLAY ON WORDS, POPULATION,
SHOWDOWN POKER, SPIRO T. AGNEW AMERICAN HISTORY CHALLENGE GAME,
TAKE, THE LIB GAME, TRIPLE TILT, WOMEN'S LIB.
While looking at WHO CAN BEAT NIXON? I noticed that the elec-
toral votes for Connecticut and Oklahoma were different than
those I used in NOMINATION. If Mary accepts the latter I will
have to inform her.
Looked at Arcadia Book Store for the book Claude mentioned
(see 3/31). Not there. Owner thinks it was sold but can't re-
member exactly what it was.
Bought 1000 blank business cards at store on Park Ave. S.
near 23rd St.
At Metropolitan Bookstore on 23rd St. bought 4 copies of AGOG
at $1.75 each. They had one more but it was a little dam-
aged.
To new Skunk Works on 23rd St. Gave Jim my column
for S&T #27. #28 will be due about the middle of
May.
Took 6 copies of #25, which Jim said was sent to me,
but I never rcd. it. It contains the game CENTURION.
There is also a review of the game ALESIA, a privately
produced game which sells for $6.50.
Took #6 & #7 STRATEGY & TACTICS SUPPLEMENT.
