TUESDAY 16 MARCH 1971

75th day - 290 days to come

Felicia called. She has another GAME on recycling to give to IMPACT to submit to Coca Cola. I can stop working on my GAME. She thought that I'd be glad to drop it, and I was.
She saw Andy Luftig's ESCAPE and played it with him. It is more a fun game than a strategy game, altho the prisoner has considerable choice of lines of action. At one point there is a die throw which is quite important, but the prisoner can choose the time to throw it. At other times the pcs., 1 prisoner and 9 guards, have set moves. There are searchlights involved and also cards which Felicia says are quite humorous.
She will call Bill Caruson about it and see if he will promise her a quick answer.
Bill Dodge has a lot of GAMEs he is working on. But she told him not to hurry. She never had any success with his games.
I told her that I would be seeing Al Richter on Saturday and that if there were any games of his she was doubtful about and wanted me to look at, she should have him show them to me Saturday.

Finished the rules for EL TABLERO DE JESUS including the points Dale brought up. Copies off a set to send Pete (since BB is teaching this week). Later in day BB looked at it and I mailed it.

I asked about Alex and Tom said that Parker was taking TRICKY TRACK (altho 3M is still interested in it). Tom sug- gested that it could be an "n" person game by providing separate boards for each player and that's the way it will be done. Parker is also interested in OFF COURSE and COLLISION COURSE as low ticket items. I said that Alex had hit the jackpot and Tom said that at this time last year Alex presumably had three things with Parker and then they all fell thru. HOPPING-MAD-WAR, after initial enthusiasm, has been turned done.
3M is interested in Alex' CHESS oriented games. They already have a contract for GOOD KNIGHT and it looks promising for BUFFALO & MAD MATE. It also looks very good for TWIDDLY GOLF.
"Small Wonders" is going to do STRETCH BLOCKS (which Tom says have pcs. that can branch out of the plane). Joyce's partner has only allowed $5,000 for development of their
