Rcd. PANZERFAUST (#42 - Mar. '71). Don asked about an article again. Has the complete game CHERBOURG. Reviews of DEPLOYMENT and RISK.

Reading the letter yesterday on SLAM, etc. led me to think of the following improvement for SLAM. The player who leads to a trick may trump on his second card, even if he has the suit he led. If the leader trumps on his second card the follower is also allowed to trump on his second card regardless of whether he has the suit or not. He is allowed this even if the leader was actually out of the suit led. If the follower does not wish to trump, he must follow suit if able.

After Mary left I reminded Felicia that she had said that she couldn't do anything more with AIRLINE & SPELLBINDER. She agreed but said that she couldn't deal with a company for me while I was dealing thru someone else. I agreed but stated that I had the dealings with Stancraft before Mary got there. Everything was settled very amicably.
Told Felicia that the only exhibit of any interest at the Int. Toy Fair was Dynamic Enterprises with THE GOTCHA GAME, etc. Then left to go there for a copy of WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?
Tried to call Mary Hilt at her hotel twice, but no answer.
To New York Hilton. To Charles Hope of Dynamic and gave him a copy of AGOG. He didn't offer to pay and I didn't have the nerve to ask him for the $4.25. He only had one copy of WHO CAN BEAT NIXON? left and needed that. He will send me a copy. Took a copy of REINCARNATION. (Added the Introduction Booklet I previously took to the box.)
Charles will contact me about working on the PASSWORD-like GAME.
To Waddington's and gave David Westnedge Paul Milazzo's address. Told him about Claude's WATCH but he didn't seem very interested. He asked if I knew a game WHOOPS, since they have a game WHOOOPS (see '70). Didn't know it but later found it in New Products in Jan. '71 TOYS - by Western, a children's game.

Looked at F.A.O. Schwartz. Saw COMPUTAMATIC FINANCE. Same as COMPUTER FINANCE (see 3/3). Each number represents one of 16 stocks and only that stock price is changed when the number is landed on. Space marked "Reset stocks" causes all stocks to be changed, one at a time.
TOURNAMENT GOLF. 18 holes laid out on a quadrille on two sides of a board. Different clubs represented by dice with different range of numbers. A red die is also thrown, except when putting which gives lateral displacement. The distance forward is measured
