WEDNESDAY 24 FEBRUARY 1971
Ash Wednesday St. Matthias, Apostle 55th day - 310 days to come
Drew up a sample of a tower for MANHATTAN MADNESS using the markings I thought of yesterday. Looked good.
Rcd. a letter from Jerry D'Arcey, about capital gains. he is now manufacturing and will show at the Toy Fair. Will call when he gets into town.
Rcd. a letter from Dave Calkins, an AGOG reader. He would like info on PLOY and enclosed a stamped envelope.
Thought of an idea for a Coca Cola recycling GAME using cards as the main element, rather than a board.
Claude called. Told him of Felicia's suggestion that I do a game on recycling (not the one for Coca Cola). I told him that I hadn't really done much on it and if he comes up with something I'd stop. He pointed out that undoubtedly others would be working on the subject so why should we step out of the way for each other. I agreed. If we each come up with one Felicia can try to sell them both.
Started making a new set for WHAT'S IT WORTH TO YOU?

in the south. MONAD is not selling anywhere.
Felicia took me next door to Herb Roth's to show me a game
WHO CAN BEAT NIXON? Didn't get the details but it had a monopoly
type board with spaces (states I think) where you win or
lose votes. Will look at it again.
Dick Harris from M.B. took TANGLED WEB and ECLIPSE. They
are very interested in puzzles. Also they will be coming out
with adult games at the Stationery Show.
