FRIDAY 12 FEBRUARY 1971

Georgia Day Abraham Lincoln, Born 1809 43rd day - 322 days to come

Wrote to Dr. Manuel Ma. Risueno who sent me the game ZAFARRANCHO. I told him about CAROUSEL. Also told him about TEMPO and answered a comment about THREE MUSKETEERS.

Started letter to Don Laycock in Australia. Copied the rules and board for CROWN RED to send him.

Rcd. an ad from "Dimensional Games, Inc." for a book called 3-D CHESS BOOK by Lynn R. Johnson.

NEW YORK magazine had a simple, satirical game called COMMUNICATION.

Played PLANES with BB. Played very well. At the end portion a player with a lot more of his tiles on the board can rack up a big score. A possible equalization factor: do not allow a "trick" of less than three tiles. Another possibility: A player must take the largest trick that he could win (largest in number of tiles). With more than one with same number, has choice.

Gave Rudy his old equipment for LIVE WIRE, also a copy of rules.
Rudy left the equipment for LIVE WIRE-QUICK SHOCK.

Called Arthur and talked for awhile. Nothing speci- fically about games.

Told Rudy I'd come to his house after Toy Fair to see his other two GAMEs.

BB, Dale, and Phil picked up the shelves I ordered from Sears - in Yonkers. I put them together and put them in the corner where the filing cabinet used to be.
