This is $1,100 less than last year and I was disappointed.
One possible hope: there is no breakdown for foreign
sales and maybe they'll be reported separately.
Felicia called to say she was sick at home and I'll bring LIVE WIRE tomorrow. Told her of 3M report and she was very depressed. Talked about giving up the business.
Finished illustrations & packaging LIVE WIRE. Went for repros of the rules on Boston Road. They were rather poor quality, but by trimming the sheets and recoloring the diagrams with a black pencil they didn't look too bad.
Claude called. He contacted Felicia. He'll bring DUEL to her tomorrow at 1. He suggested my getting there then also and then spending some time together.

football games. Also at Altman's I saw ENCOUNTA!,
which is a MANCALA version by S.J. Miller.
Claude has an idea for a new version of KNIFE YOUR BUDDY.
Each player has a set of cards from 1 to 6. On
each turn all players play one card face down. The
player with the lowest number moves that many
spaces on a board. In case of a tie for law, these
cards are eliminated and the next lowest card de-
termines the move, etc. The board will have a num-
ber (maybe as much as 1 out of 3) of spaces
that are bad to land in, which will indicate numbers
that the player is not apt to use.
Claude figured that 2 could not play and I sug-
gested each player placing 2 cards when
2, and probably when 3, are playing.
At Felicia's I borrowed her "Gameways" catalog. It
was quite extensive, altho the only games completely
new to me was CHILKAT and CANADIAN FOOTBALL (and
I may have something on the latter; didn't look).
