TUESDAY 26 JANUARY 1971

26th day - 339 days to come

Wrote rules for LIVE WIRE including a good number of illustrations. (Worked at Mike Baschkopf's office where I was filling a desk.)
Played a game of LIVE WIRE with BB and I finally forced a win when we each had 3 wires left.

Bought three copies of SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, including Martin's column on Conway's LIFE solitaire.

Recieved a letter from Violet I. Gunther. She rcd. my check and is sending out TOURING.

Rcd. a letter from Julian Clark Martin, an AGOG reader. He is working on an adult GAME and would like some info on marketing, including the possibility of putting it out himself. He also mentions a game STATUS. He also likes ACQUIRE.

Rcd. a "crisis" and "confrontation" chart for the game CONFRONTATION (new version) from Phil Orbanes.

He doesn't think there will be any problem with my game, especially if I don't call the pieces quadrominos.
Golomb, incidentally, has pentomino set, with games and puzzles, selling all over Europe, but Tom can't find an American publisher.

Claude called. He wants to bring DUEL to Felicia in the next few days. I told him to call her since she should be in with her accountant tomorrow and Friday, she told me.
Claude has the beginnings of a game he calls 15-TAC-TOE. A 3x3 field is used and pieces with
