Felicia called. Letter from <u>Jim Kraus</u> and <u>SLEUTH</u> will be ready
by March. | |||
Told her about <u>Gary Sherbell</u> and she said that
<u>TORTS - THE GAME OF LAWSUITS</u> was being sent back this week
for changes. | |||
Told her about taping the TV program and that because of
it I'd have to wait until next week to get <u>LIVE WIRE</u> to her.
She said that <u>Bob Edwards</u> was in a hurry for it, but he
has kept us waiting plenty.
While looking thru the book <u>GAMES OF SKILL</u> (Cooperative Recre-
ation Service) came across a game, <u>TURTLE CAGE</u>. It is ident-
ical with <u>INDIAN CHESS</u>, before my change. They say it comes
from Shaowu, Fukien, China.
<u>Felicia</u> called in the evening. <u>Rael Cowan</u>, the inventor
of <u>BAFFLE</u> (now <u>COLOR CONFUSION</u>) was there with a new
game (later learned that the name was <u>ZEC</u>). She'd like me
to see it and give my opinion as to whether it was origin-
al enough to submit to X. Will go there Thursday at noon.
Sent a check for $3.50 to <u>Violet I. Gunther</u> for the old copy
of <u>TOURING</u>. | |||
To Post Office and sent a copy of S&T to
Eric Naiburg ($20, with VECTOR review) and to Arthur
(#22). Sent registered letters to myself with the rules
for MANHATTAN MADNESS and FREE FORM. (The latter had
been opened by the burglars who broke in on 1/8.) [Mailed
these tomorrow.] | |||
Wrote to <u>Fred E. Wadley</u> thanking him for his letter on
the <u>GAME OF THE MONTH CLUB - N.J.</u> and the
<u>GAME OF THE MONTH CLUB - N.Y.</u>

thing was settled amicably. In fact Urban Systems will
help distribute Gini's game. Gave Gini the page from
<u>''PLAYTHINGS''</u> on <u>WOMEN'S LIB</u>. She gave me an ad sheet.
Gini mentioned that Harmonica Reed, who did musical
instruments, is now called Reed Toys and is doing games.
(See <u>''PLAYTHINGS''</u> listing today.)
Gini took me to supper. I picked a lunch room & only had
eggs. // She knows of <u>Jerry D'Arcey</u> but hasn't met him.
