Writing the article on my 3M games for <u>''THE GAMESMAN''</u>.
Wrote up <u>ACQUIRE</u> and part of <u>BAZAAR</u>.

(cont. from 1/16) [3/2]
was correct. I asked if he had seen <u>''AGOG''</u>. No. He'll check when
he gets back to see if the copy I sent to <u>Constance Herrick</u> is
there. If not he'll let me know and I'll send him another.
He suggests in the future that I correspond with him or
with <u>Bill Dohrmann</u>. He asked if I had any games to show them.
Not at present. He will send me copies of <u>ORION</u> and
<u>MASTERPIECE</u>.
Looked at <u>MASTERPIECE</u>. There are 24 paintings and 24
value cards including "forgery." The values are shuffled and
attached to the painting so that the value is unknown un-
til the player gets a chance to look at it. Paintings are auc-
tioned by the bank and between players. Most money and
value of paintings at end is winner. (Rough idea.)
<u>ORION</u>. About a dozen games and puzzles. (See catalog.)
<u>SCAN</u> (see catalog). Players choose which area, of the 4, they
have to match. Or it can be "dealer's choice." (But if the
two decks are identical it doesn't matter?)
<u>PLOTZ!</u> (see catalog). Place marbles in hole determined by
throw of 2 dice.
<u>CAREERS</u> (see catalog). The occupations have been updated,
including a career in ecology.
E.S. Lowe. Had 3 new games with <u>SCRABBLE</u> type boards.
Couldn't find anyone to give me the details. <u>PLAY ON WORDS</u> -
with letter tiles. <u>NUMBERS UP</u> - with number tiles. <u>SHOWDOWN POKER</u>
with card tiles.
Cadaco. Nothing new in adult line. Got a 1971 catalog.
Saalfield. <u>SKORE</u>. Only a mock-up box there. <u>SCRABBLE</u> like play
with making of equations in crossword style. They'll send me
a copy.
Rcd. a statement of earnings from Hallmark. They did not in-
clude the two $250 payments sent directly to <u>Felicia</u>.
<u>Felicia</u> had hinted about some big news about Hallmark.
Called her. She heard from one of her stock holders that
they will come out with a very extensive line.
She asked me to check whether Whitman has <u>Natalie Donna</u>'s
<u>FLINGERS</u> on display.
