THURSDAY 14 JANUARY 1971 14th day - 351 days to come

Rcd. an invoice from pbs (Frank Armbruster) saying that TASMANIA and TAKE FIVE were sent to me on 1/8.

Played BAZAAR with BB, using the rules for returning all tokens when a card is bought and limiting the use of the die to times when a trade is not possible. Played well, but I couldn't think as clearly as BB. Finally had to concede.

Rudy Lopez called. He has a new GAME which he says is just about all worked out. But he would like me to see it. He is now working for an employer and can't get to Felicia's during the day. He asked if I could come to his house some evening to look at the game. Said "yes" but not until I have caught up. I'll call him in a month or so. { Rudy Lopez, [phone number], (call after 9 P.M. Told Rudy I'd give LIVE WIRE to Felicia next week.

others that I want from her in the future. Computer Games: - Computamatic Games:- These are the same series of games (see 2/25 for names). The first are packaged as separate games; the second have a common base and separate overlays that can be pur- chased individually. COMPUTER FINANCE:- The pointer is placed at the right end and each player pushes a button and a number lights up which is the move. When a number, on the track, from 1 to 16 is landed on the pointer is moved to that number and each player pushes a button. Lights behind certain squares indicates gains and losses for some stocks. (Very rough idea.) Urban Systems:- (They were not listed in the directory but I found them in same suite with previous company.) Gave Dick Rosen my reviews from BOOK WORLD and S&T. He agreed with my comments on the rules. They are rewriting the SMOG rules. He also agrees with my criticism of the smoke plumes. He plays without them being in place. He had ECOLOGY there but I only looked at it briefly. Also empty boxes for POPULATION and WOMEN'S LIB. I can get review copies by writing to:- Lois Pike Urban Systems 129 Mt. Auburn St. Cambridge, Mass. 02138 Dick said he'd like to look at games I have available, preferably something that can develope into a "system" rather (cont. on 1/10)
