Called <u>Claude</u>. Told him about Toy Fair. He is still working
on his magnetic <u>PUZZLE</u>.
<u>Dick Rosen</u> said that he had bought the boxes saying <u>WOMEN'S LIB</u>
from <u>Gini Scott</u>. I said that that was very nice of him and
he said "Well yes, and it was cheaper than a lawsuit."

throwing the die and placing a marker in a space
of the color thrown. As soon as a player wins one small
layout by getting three in a row the die is no longer used
and a player can choose his space. In case no one gets 3
in a row in a small layout the most markers win. There
is some kind of a <u>NIM</u> gadget but Tom and Joyce weren't sure
about it. (Tom will send me rules.)
Looked at the following puzzles by <u>Stewart T. Coffin</u> - <u>THE 7 WOODS</u>,
<u>THE STAR PUZZLE</u>, <u>SLIDER SPIDER</u>. Also took the rules of his
<u>SNOWFLAKE</u>. He is the inventor of <u>HECTIX</u>. 30,000 of these
were sold. More could have been, but that is all they made.
<u>LOGI-QUAD</u> came up and (I believe) I told Tom I would send
him the rules. | |||
Discussed my games with Stancraft and my upcoming meeting
with <u>Mary Hilt</u>. Decided on the following.
<u>AIRLINE</u> - sign contract even without an advance, since it
is not the kind of games most companies are doing.
[crossed out] - Sign contract only if I get an advance. <u>Tom</u>
would like to show it to Parker. I worried about <u>Felicia</u> and
then decided that the only way to handle things, except 3M
and Hallmark which are Felicia's, is on a game by game basis.
Whoever handles that game will get the royalty - <u>TRANSFORMATION</u>.
<u>SPELLBINDER</u> - told Tom about it since Felicia gave it back
saying she couldn't sell a word game. I'll show it to Mary
when she comes over. | |||
