Called Claude. Told him about Toy Fair. He is still working
on his magnetic PUZZLE.
Dick Rosen said that he had bought the boxes saying WOMEN'S LIB
from Gini Scott. I said that that was very nice of him and
he said "Well yes, and it was cheaper than a lawsuit."

throwing the die and placing a marker in a space
of the color thrown. As soon as a player wins one small
layout by getting three in a row the die is no longer used
and a player can choose his space. In case no one gets 3
in a row in a small layout the most markers win. There
is some kind of a NIM gadget but Tom and Joyce weren't sure
about it. (Tom will send me rules.)
Looked at the following puzzles by Stewart T. Coffin - THE 7 WOODS,
THE STAR PUZZLE, SLIDER SPIDER. Also took the rules of his
SNOWFLAKE. He is the inventor of HECTIX. 30,000 of these
were sold. More could have been, but that is all they made.
LOGI-QUAD came up and (I believe) I told Tom I would send
him the rules.
Discussed my games with Stancraft and my upcoming meeting
with Mary Hilt. Decided on the following.
AIRLINE - sign contract even without an advance, since it
is not the kind of games most companies are doing.
[crossed out] - Sign contract only if I get an advance. Tom
would like to show it to Parker. I worried about Felicia and
then decided that the only way to handle things, except 3M
and Hallmark which are Felicia's, is on a game by game basis.
Whoever handles that game will get the royalty - TRANSFORMATION.
SPELLBINDER - told Tom about it since Felicia gave it back
saying she couldn't sell a word game. I'll show it to Mary
when she comes over.
