Wrote to <u>Lech Pijanowski</u>, copying his last short
"strange" letter.
Wrote to <u>Haar Hoolim</u>.
Called <u>Jack Davis</u>. Told him that the repro he rcd.
was probably from <u>Marvin Katz</u>, not from <u>GRIT</u>. He real-
ized that that was true. Probably the tear sheets from
<u>GRIT</u> will still come.
I told him about the interview with <u>Bob Abel</u>. It's O.K.
for me to tell Bob the names <u>EXECUTIVE DECISION</u> &
<u>SLEUTH</u>.
Called <u>Bob Abel</u> and told him about the two games.
He said he was pretty sure that there had been a game
<u>SLEUTH</u> a few years ago. He said that he'd look it up
when he gets a chance. I asked if I could get a chance to
look thru his notes, but he wouldn't let me. (The res-
taurant on Monday was Le Directoire.)
Called <u>Carl Eisenberg</u> & he called back. I asked how things
were going with <u>MANHATTAN MADNESS</u>. He is having problems,
but he still wants the rules by the beginning of next
week. I'll call him Monday to arrange a date to bring
them to him.
<u>Fabio</u> called. Spoke about things in general. Asked him
if he knew how <u>''AGOG''</u> was doing. He'll have Fay check &
call me. I reminder him about his suggestion of my
doing a book on children's puzzles. He'd really like it.
Wanted to arranged a lunch meeting but I wanted to
catch up first. Maybe in a month or so.
Forgot to ask him the question <u>Coffey</u> asked me
