I asked about the problem of fitting <u>PROFIT</u> in the gam-
ette box. He said
ette box. He said that had been solved. Also that he had
gotten Redpath's approval to send us $500 to hold the game
for introduction in the spring of 1972. He still thinks it
is a great game. I said that it had been <u>Felicia</u>'s idea to
ask for more money and he said that that was her job
as an agent.
I told him that I was coming along well on <u>PLANES</u>
and he would like to see it, tho there is no hurry.
They got the idea while playing around with the card
game <u>OH HELL</u> on three levels, but they couldn't develope
something that pleased them.
He thinks that <u>TORTS - THE GAME OF LAWSUITS</u> is a lot of
fun, and I agreed.
Their initial reaction to <u>THE INFERNAL BINARY MACHINE</u> is
not good. He asked if I had seen it. I said that I had read
the rules, which are horribly written, and I think he has
some good ideas. But I never tried it.
I asked if <u>Keith Tuggle</u> was still away. He was there and Jim
put him on. I asked about my last letter concerning <u>ACQUIRE</u>
and <u>EXECUTIVE DECISION</u>.
They are not changing the number of tiles or players in
<u>ACQUIRE</u>. They are reshooting the back cover picture to show the
right number of tiles. Keith didn't remember exactly but
he believes they are using the new rule on unplayable tiles.
On <u>EXECUTIVE DECISION</u> Keith is pretty sure they will
go with their rules for buying and selling, without ad-
ding my rules for advanced players. He doesn't think
they are important enough to warrent the complications.
He will check with the panelists before a final decision. They
are coming along well and will easily have it ready for next
spring.
I told him about my experiences with <u>BAZAAR</u> at the
"Hallmark Gallery." He admitted that the copy was probably
off, but they feel that if people found the game worth-
while there would a word-of-mouth effect. Also to
change the image of the game would require almost as
much work as a new game and they probably would rather
put it on a new game. The decision hasn't been made yet.

Called <u>Felicia</u> and told her of the call. She was happy about
<u>PROFIT</u>, but upset about <u>BAZAAR</u>. She rcd. my letter (carbon)
to <u>Bill Caruson</u>. She likes the way I write.
In my talk with <u>Keith</u> about <u>BAZAAR</u> I mentioned that
