Called and told Carl that Phil and I agreed on $250  <br>
as an advance. He didn't sound quite as enthusiastic about  <br>
<u>MANHATTAN MADNESS</u> to me as he had to Phil, but it does  <br>
look encouraging. His budget from "Guud" is not certain yet  <br>
but he is pretty sure. He'd like the rules by Jan. 11, unless  <br>
he contacts me otherwise. Reiss wants to do M.M for  <br>
$5, $6 at the most .  <br>
