Read over rules for THINKING MAN'S BASKETBALL. Made some notes of difficulties, to send to Jim Kraus.

Called Arthur. Tentative [crossout] date for afternoon of 11/21 (3 to 9 p.m.). May have something new to show me by then.

we develop from their suggestions. Felicia thinks we may get as much as $10,000 for a game and she suggested a 65-35 split. I put in an objection but we left it open to see what develops. We may also charge them for consulta- tions when we all get together, which we will split down the middle.
She also will try to interest the in games & puzzles already made. She has my SPELLBINDER, DATA, TANGLED WEB, and possibly some others. I also suggested PAYOFF, GO SEE and FREE FORM if I can get a model ready in time.
Felicia will call him on Wednesday to set up a date for week after next, when I'll be able to travel downtown. I told her that there was an English game called OLYMPICS which (I looked up later) was put out by "Simplay Products."

Called Jim Dunnigan. He has my column for #23, in fact a copy is on the way to me. Al Nofi must have meant S&T #24 & #25.
Told Jim I was feeling weak and how long could they wait. He says they have all the rest for the issue and would like mine as soon as possible. I'll try to have it ready by Sunday. He'll call in the evening. He said if I couldn't manage to write much Red will blow up the pictures.
Jim said that the COMBINATION column was rated par- ticularly badly. I offered to quit but he said he definitely wants to keep my column. As they increase the circulation it will have to be among readers who like a broader spectrum of games.
I asked him about Don Miller's request to use COMBINATION and TROMINO GO in THE GAMESMAN. OK if he gives credit. Jim pointed out that the 12% of S&T readers who liked COMBINATION was still more than Don's
