MONDAY 26 OCTOBER 1970

299th day - 66 days to come

Felicia called. She had a letter from Bob Edwards. They are sending option contracts for TRIP, TRIAGO, and also for FITTING & PROPER.
Things look they are about to happen, but not to get our excitement up till he gives us something.
They returned PENT-HOUSE (and Felicia did receive it) which Steve Barkoczy did.
Felicia tried to get Steve to see that he is doing very well, but won't put up with too much trouble from him. She has too many clients to bother so much with one.
Larry's report on HIGH BID came. It was bigger than ever before, tho not tremendous.
Felicia mentioned she had a GAME something like DOMINIQUE she was going to submit to X. I suggested finishing up a presentation model of FREE FORM for submission. Will try to get it red in next few weeks.
Felicia had a letter from Bill Caruson, mainly about the "Ed-U-Play- tional" line (now that the "Ed-U-Cards" deal fell thru - since they couldn't price the games at $3.00 as they wanted - they are trying to sell it to "Child Craft.").
He also mentioned that TORTS-THE GAME OF LAWSUITS looked good. They are just starting to look at it since Jim & Keith were both away for two weeks.
Felicia is mailing me the information on THE INFERNAL BIANARY MACHINE so that I can look at it while the model is on the way to her.
Told Felicia of my BOOK WORLD column and she suggested that I include MONAD & VENTURE.
She has a date coming up with Mr. Fiel of TOUCH. He felt he was lucky to land it with "Parker," but wants her to handle him from now on.

Rcd. a letter from Harold A. Kuhn (HAK) saying that he was spending out a package with a model of TICKER TAPE - apparently with more detail than what I rcd. on 10/20.

Rcd. a letter from Warren Buell. He'll be in New York and would like to come here on Saturday Nov. 14.

Rcd. a letter from Gini Scott. Thanked me. Asked if I rcd. CONFRONTATION and would like my opinion of it. She is mailing a copy of OH PEG IT to me today. In New York she sold her GANG TANGLE (don't know this one) and a GAME by another inventor to Gametime (Bob Hallowell). Thinks are being considered by "Milton Bradley," and "Parker," and "Pressman."
She also sent her "Newsletter" Vol. 2- No. 5 and Vol. 2 - No. 6. Also "Professional News Notes" Vol. 1 - No. 7 and Vol. 1 - No. 8.

Rcd. PANZERFAUST (Vol. 5, No. 6 - Oct. '70). Has a game INTERSTELLAR DIPLOMACY I. // Rcd. THE FIVE WORD GAMES (see 10/24).
