They are doing a series of books in connection with
David Frost, called "Bluffer's Guides". They are interested
in doing something similar with games, and contacted
several game companies, including 3M. Bill Caruson (I
believe) told him that they were interested, and that I
would create any games for the project, and to contact me.
Told him that I was in the hospital. He said to contact
him when I was able to come to see him. In the
meantime he will send me some of the books.
Rcd. a mailing on games from the "Book - of - the - Month - Club".
Obviously done in cooperation with Bob Reiss.
It included: 3D TIC-TAC-TOE, MAD MAZE, FASCINATING CUBE,
TRAUMA TOWER, THINK THINK THIRTY-FOUR, BRIDGEVERYONE,
PSYC-OUT, SWITCH, PHARAOH'S DILEMMA, QUINTESSENCE,
AQUARIUS 2000. [Filed in 1970 Ad Clips.]

While unable to sleep thought of using contact in making the
pcs. for FREE FORM. Pretty much thought out the details.
Also thought of some possible rules for the new version of
SPECTRUM. In a turn a player cannot move two pcs. that
are together in one of his towers [illegible crossed out] so that they are
together on the field. Also no more than 2 pcs. of the
same size can be moved to the field in one turn.
there doesn't seem to be any necessity of keeping the
cards for setting up the towers at the beginning. Instead
the squares of a size can be shuffled and placed
in piles face down, with players taking 4 at random.
