Rcd. the 1971 "Childcraft" catalog. Contains, among other things; ANIMO, CUBE FUSION, LOGI-QUAD, INTERCEPT, MAYRING, TRIANGLE DOMINOES, TURN-TAC-TOE, NIMBLE NUMBERS, TRAUMA TOWER, NITTY GRITTY.

Rcd. instructions for Herb Siegel for getting to his house.

Stopped at "Gary & Reidel." Got rules and a glossy of CARAPACE from the secretary. Promised to bring in a copy of AGOG, either next week or right after my operation.

With Claude and BB going thru the Thrift Shops on 3rd and 2nd Ave. Bought the following: STEP CHESS: The complete game.
POLARIS: Just the board and spinner. (see card file and game diary 6/9/66).
THE WORLD'S GREATEST PUZZLES - a book by "Jerome Meyer." A deck of playing cards with attractive picture of Paris and environments.

Tried to get Felicia so as to sign the contracts for DIGIT and PE-LING and to pick up the checks. Finally found that she didn't come in at all due to a sprained arm. Called her in the evening and will call tomorrow about coming there tomorrow.

At the thrift shops also bought an extra copy of CREDIBILITY GAP in case I need one for a gift or for trading.
At "Rappaport's" got the price of MEM ($5) and SMOG ($10). Saw TANGLED ANGLES which was called a puzzle-game on the box but was actually only a puzzle. It consisted of different shaped pcs. built up of equilateral triangles. THere are 3 different shaped figures that can be built, the largest being a hex using all the pieces.

Jim called while I was out and I called him back. The current issue is behind time but Jim hopes to get the next one out about a month later. However if my column is in a little later than the end of October it wouldn't bother him.
They prepared a form letter telling publishers about their book review section and have been getting a flood of books. They will give very short reviews of all books rcd. and expand those they find more interesting. Jim suggested doing the same with game reviews. He will send me a copy of the form letter and I will make the necessary changes. The feedback on COMBINATION indicates that
