1970  252nd day - 113 days to come

----
Called <u>Steve Salomon</u> at "Arrco." He said he had transmitted my
request for the <u>SKARNEY DICE</u> instruction book to <u>Skarney</u>,
He said he'd check but I told him that I didn't expect any
cooperation from Skarney himself.
Called <u>Brian Blake</u> and he called me back. Told him that I was
working at-home now and that I hope to be able to have him
and John here to try out a <u>Harry Lorayne</u> <u>GAME</u>.
<u>Felicia</u> called to say that she saw <s>Anne (?)</s> <u>Dorothy Shapiro</u> the
buyer at "Brentanos." The games are selling very well. The new
gamettes are being accepted. <u>ACQUIRE</u> shapes up as their
best seller of the "3M" games. Right now <s>Anne</s> Dorothy is mad because she
reordered it and it didn't come yet. I'll either try to tell
<u>Dick Littlefield</u> myself, or ask <u>Jack Davis</u> to do it.
Felicia said that she had a fabulous idea for publicizing
<u>VENTURE</u> and I should have Jack Davis call her.
She had good news from other retail stores as well.
Felicia bought the last copy of the <u>''CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR''</u> with
my interview, but the president of "Brentanos" wanted it and
Felicia had to give it to him. She thinks she may be able to
get them to advertise a demonstration by me.
She said that <u>Richard Rosen</u> of "Urban Systems" had taken <u>Anne
Shapiro</u> out to lunch and thought it would be a good idea
for me to do the same. She will be on vacation for the next
two weeks.
Felicia thinks that the good showing in games should get X moving.
Working on the instruction changes & corrections for <u>EXECUTIVE DECISION</u>.
Didn't get to the covering letter to Kathy Brooks.
<u>Brian Blake</u> mentioned that his Flash Cards based on Lorayne's
memory system were not produced after all. [crossed out]
[crossed out] The successor
of "Hallowell Industries" was supposed to do it, and I suggested
<u>Bob Hallowell</u>. I looked for Bob's number but couldn't find it.
Told <s>Bob</s> Brian I'd locate it and call him.
