<u>ODD OR EVEN</u> was also popular. I played several
games of <u>TEMPO</u> and one each of <u>INTERPLAY</u>, <u>MONAD</u>,
and <u>VENTURE</u> during the week. Also did considerable
explaining of <u>ACQUIRE</u>, <u>VENTURE</u>, and <u>MONAD</u> without
actually playing. Never got around to TAM-BIT and
<u>TAKE-FIVE</u>. Also played a number of games of <u>FOCUS</u>.
<u>Bob Edwards</u> stopped by. In town for a short and busy visit.
Their present plans, although nothing is definite as yet,
is to come out with the puzzle-games, such as <u>WINDOW PAINS</u>
and <u>RIGHT CONNECTIONS</u>, first, in connection with "Spring-
bok." They hope to have them ready for "Stationery Show"
next spring or, failing that, in time for X-Mas 1971.
The next project would be card games with <u>PE-LING</u>
and <u>DIGIT</u> included here. The former looks particularly
good to them, but rather difficult. I said that it can
be played at different levels depending on the ability
of the players.
The third project would be regular games like
<u>RED LETTER</u>.
At present they want to see puzzles, even without
games. The more difficult the better.
I told him that I would get <u>FITTING & PROPER</u> to
them as soon as possible, but that I didn't want it
tied up for 2 years. He said that things would certainly
happen before then. He is interested in seeing it since Felicia
has been talking about it.
<u>SPELLBINDER</u> was returned because it was just too slow-
moving.

<u>Anthony Dickens</u> stopped by and then returned at 4 when
I knocked off. Went for a bite to eat together and then to
"Brentanos" where he was looking for 3-D <u>CHESS</u>. Met
<u>Bob Edwards</u> there. Anthony left and I looked around a little.
Nothing new. Had my 3M games, except <u>ACQUIRE</u>. Had at
