by two (or is it more) players.

Told Felicia of I. Pfeffer's request that ASTRO-FLITE be returned. She asked if I intended writing to him and when I said "yes" asked me to tell him to send her re- turn postage.

Called Diane Jaust. She claimed that Selma Shapiro never told her to call me. She will prepare a flyer on "Random House" release paper and have 1000 copies run off by photo offset.
I told her about Jane Jordan's suggestion of 8/18 and she will have the sales people get on it.
Forgot to remind her that I'd need several copies of AGOG for visitors to leaf thru.

Steve Bankoczy had remarked that putting cubes together was just about the only possible form for a 3-dimensional puzzle. That started me thinking of the following PUZZLE: There are a square rod of lengths varying from 2 to 10 units. The ends have lines in different colors which are continued part way along the edges- with a different color coming from the other end. Object is to stand the 9 rods in a 3x3 cluster so that each joint the same color continues on one end, along the side, and out to the other end.
Might be desirable to increase to 12 or even 16 rods and have more than 1 of the same height.

Rcd. a letter from Gary Sherbell who got my name and ad- dress from Peter Gersten and Michael Gentile (GAME OF THE MONTH CLUB - N.Y.). He is interested in getting his game TORTS-THE GAME OF LAWSUITS to my agent. Enclosed a self-addresssed & stamped envelope for my answer.

Gave Claude a copy of STOCK MARKET GAME (Whitman) which I had in triplicate. Also my extra copy of THE BEST OF PROBLEMATICAL RECREATIONS VOLUME 1. Returned his copy of ABBOTT'S NEW CARD GAMES which Allan Turoff game me.
Ate at "Thunderbird" to celebrate signing of EXECUTIVE DECISION contract. Used Claude's $6.25 share of
