MONDAY 10 AUGUST
St. Lawrence 1970 222nd day - 143 days to come

----
Selma Shapiro, Diane Jaust's boss at "Random House," called. Diane
will be back from vacation next Monday and Selma will
have her call me on Monday or Tuesday. Diane will get
me the copies of ''AGOG'' for the exhibition, also will
work out some kind of a flyer - possibly I'll go there to discuss it.
Called "Renwal" & spoke to John Donahue. He'll have copies
of TAM-BIT & TAKE FIVE, and 1000 brochures for me to pick
up next Wednesday.
The $2 games are not moving at all. ULCERS, RAT RACE,
and BATTLE OF BRITAIN are beginning to move a little.
I asked about GAME OF THE MONTH CLUB (N.J.), and he said
that they had some interest in BATTLE OF BRITAIN.
Mailman left a notice that the "Hamley's" package was at
the P.O., with money due for postage and for duty.
The SEARCH contract came. They will send me $250 as a closing
fee. Called Felicia and arranged to go there tomorrow
to sign.
Wrote to Tom Mason of "Western Publishing" about the Hall-
mark exhibit, and what to do about FOCUS. Told him
I was sending ''AGOG'' and packed a copy in a jiffy bag.
Rcd. clippings from Jane Jordan, including ''NEWSDAY''.

Dale and Phil went to Post Office for me. Mailed the copy
of ''AGOG'' to Tom Mason. Picked up the package from
"Hamleys" with AMOEBA, SHERLOCK HOLMES, FLAGSTONES,
TACKLE, & ZODIAC. Charges were about $2. Sent
a postal letter to Hamleys saying that the package
came.
Short letter from Henry Lamb promising a longer one
soon.
Rcd. the two signed EXECUTIVE DECISION contracts from
Keith Tuggle, with a short, rather formal note.
Looked at the models of AIRLINE and HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME.
