He mentioned the the <u>BRITISH CHESS MAGAZINE</u> has published <br>
an exact facsimile of <u>THE GAME AND PLAY OF CHESSE</u> <br>
by Caxton, which was the earliest English book on <u>CHESS</u>, <br>
not on the play but on morality. I asked him to have <br>
them send me a copy and bill me. He paid 30 shillings, <br>
but it may have gone up.
<u>Dale</u> and her friends playing <u>DOZO</u> in the evening.
Anthony was interested in my model of <u>TOTALLY--</u> and I <br>
showed him how it worked. <br>
Anthony mentioned that Triang's <u>THE BATTLE GAME</u> was quite <br>
popular in England now.
