MONDAY 3 AUGUST 1970 215th day - 150 days to come
Rcd. a letter from Keith Tuggle telling me he was sending me a dozen game boxes.
Called "David Le Febvre" of the "Bruns Advertising Agency." He will send me a copy of VINCE LOMBARDI'S GAME. He gave me a number for Ken Morgan [phone number] who is the inventor of MOVIE MOGULS. He said it is like MONOPOLY but with more opportunity for choice and making deals. They are just about finished getting it assembled and he thinks he can have a set ready for me to pick up at his house (on 16th St.) before Friday. He'll call me. Le Febvre asked me to send him some back numbers of S&T with my column.
Called Fabio to ask about the royalty. He said he'd check and call back. Had him transfer me to Diane. She was on vacation and I spoke to another gal whose name I didn't get. Told her about "Hallmark" and needing 3 or 4 books to have on hand ("AGOG") and advertising material. She said she'd check with her boss, "Mrs. Shapiro" and call me back. Fabio didn't call back and I called at end of day. She said the check was just being sent out.
Wrote to Lilly Elkan. Told her she could send CHALLENGE! and WALK, WADE, TAKE A CANOE! to Felicia.
Paul Wong, inventor of DYNASTY called. His wife saw "Hallmark" exhibit covered on early Ch. 7 news and he thought it might also be on the 11 o'clock. It wasn't. I told him of the DAILY NEWS and the STAR-LEDGER clippings. He hadn't seen them and I promised to send him copies. { Paul Wong [address], New York, N.Y. 10021, [phone number]
Called the hotel Anthony Dickens was supposed to be at. Coming tomorrow.

rcd. the following games I purchased on 6/5:- AMOEBA, SHERLOCK HOLMES, FLAGSTONES, TACKLE, & ZODIAC.
Showed THE IMPOSSIBLE to Felicia. She found it too hard for her taste. She thinks she may try it with Y rather than with X. I reminded her that Y was doing all their own but she thinks she can convince them that they have to have fresh ideas. (cont. on 8/2)
