a backer has put out for her, as soon as it is in produc- tion. "Brentanos" will carry it. She will also send me NITTY-GRITTY (Skor-Mor) when this too, is in production. This is a puzzle consisting of 24 squares which are placed on a 5 x 5 quadrille (with center square not used) so that the adjoining edges all match in color. Three colors (I believe) are used with diff- erent arrangements of one, two, or three colors [three squares with various patterns sketched on them], etc. I gave her copies of TAM-BIT and TAKE FIVE. She bought copies of TEMPO, ODD OR EVEN, and INTERPLAY at the "Gift Show." Her backer may do a whole series of games like CONFRONTATION. Bob Reiss will distribute CONFRONTATION. Showed her IMPOSSIBLE and she thought it was attractive.
She noticed the old model of THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS and I told her about it, also pointing out that it was my original idea. She said that she had a game, or rather a puzzle, which used a circuit. She showed me her CRAZY MAZE. There is a 4 x 4 quadrille (I belieive that's the size) and 16 square pcs. as shown. These are placed so that a contin- uous path is formed following the arrows and the number on each one. I told her this was quite different from mine, the revolving dials being my distinctive feature. Both "Lakeside" & "Gametime" (Bob Hallowell) are interested in CRAZY MAZE and she asked who I would advise giving it to. Told her the first would have better volume, but the latter would do a more attractive job. She knows Frank Armbruster, in fact he helped her get started in games. I asked her to tell him about ACQUIRE and "Hall- mark" and that I would get it to him. She knows of Jerry D'Arcey but hasn't met him. "Pressman" is a member of "IDEAS." Also Al Stack of "Skor-Mor" and some other west coast manufacturers. She will put me back on the "IDEAS" mailing list. She asked if I would act as her agent on the east (cont. on 5/20)
