Call from Arthur. He told me of the diagonal jumping
move in ALCHEMY which wasn't part of the 5/6 rules.

To Stationery Show. Got in with a "Press" badge.
At 3M met Keith Tuggle and he took me out for coffee. Showed me
their plans with EXECUTIVE DECISION to use a board similar to
that used in STOCKS AND BONDS for recording market prices, etc.
He asked me about the amount of material cards
and denominations of money I thought would be needed.
Will give him the answer when he comes to supper on
Tuesday evening.
They have two new puzzles which are attractively
packed in pla transparent plastic containers.
HECTIX - a series of interlocking square rods which
meet an angles as well as at right angles. (This may be
the PUZZLE I saw on 2/27 in Tom Atwater's hotel room.)
JATI (which is not to be confused by the previous game of
the same name) is a pu action puzzle of maneuvering a piece
thru an obstacle course using a magnet. The ad sheet
also lists PLOY as being available for shipment
on Aug. 1. (Ad sheet filed in 3M folder.)

I was promised at the Toy Show. He said he'd get one out to
me so that I could review it.
Saw IN-QUEST which is similar to PROPOGANDA and is
basedon scientific method.
In the "discovery room" STRANGE BEDFELLOWS and
MR. PRESIDENT were listed and I am pretty sure I saw them.
They were (I believe) both quiz types games.
