April ''PLAYTHINGS'' finally came. Had info on MOVIE MOGULS,
INTERNATIONAL TENNIS and BOTTOMS UP:- Ads for the
first two and the third in a listing of "Adult Games"
at Toy Fair.

The letter from Jim Krauss came. SEARCH looks in-
teresting in his first run thru. He would like my
ideas on more interesting symbols on the cards.

At Kruger's in White Plains saw:
TEE-PEE (Schaper) There are a number of elongated pieces
similar to "jack straws", in several different colors.
[sketch to left of many straight lines (sticks) with line across center (ring)]
There is a ring thru which the pcs. are placed and
stood on end, as in the diagram. A color is picked
and then players in turn draw a pc. of that color.
When one color is out, <s>take the next</s> choose another. 
Player who causes the "tee-pee" to collapse loses.
TRAFIC JAM (Lakeside). There is a large soft plastic
tube thru which kids must crawl. Didn't get any of
the details.
HUMOR RUMOR (Whitman). There is a deck of cards with "Rumor"
words on them. Each player except the "it" takes one 
of the cards. In some determined order the players trans-
fer a rumor from player to player. The first uses
his word together with others (any limit in the number?) in
telling a "rumor" to the 2nd. The second tells a "rumor"
to the third using the first and the 2nd player's word.
Etc. until the final "rumor" is told to "it". He then
tells the whole "rumor." Any word he leaves out scores
a point for that player. (There are a large ear, a 
large mouth and a long tube which are used for trans-
mitting the "rumor" from player to player.)

Played PROFIT with the Fredericks. They liked it. Jerry was
really caught up in it and won.
