Playing around with Conway's THE GAME OF LIFE.

Rcd. an invite to join from the "Spartan Wargamers."

Wrote a thank you letter to "Anthony J. Gugliotta" who liked AGOG. Sent him a copy of TROMINO GO.

Called Irwin Pfeffer, who sent me ASTRO-FLITE, in Cali- fornia. He has invested a lot of money in the game and would like to see some return. I told him I'd check with Felicia about her handling it and drop him a note tomorrow. Spoke longer than I intended. I told him that thus far all space games have bombed.

room a year ago at Toy Fair. She asked about the copy of AGOG I promised her. Made date for next Tuesday to bring her one.

Called Arthur and changed the date with him from next Tuesday to the Friday of that week, at his house. Arthur is having more repros of the HIGH DECK made. He'll have one for me and one to send to Lech. I'll have to supply the rules. He has seen Henry Pelham Burn a few times. Henry is interested in the HIGH DECK.

Ruth Patmore of WFF'N PROOF called long distance. She wants the inventor of TRI-NIM to write a booklet on NIM. She asked me for some references. I gave her: MATHEMATICAL RECREATIONS (Kraitchik) MATHEMATICAL RECREATIONS AND ESSAYS (Ball) I asked about QUERIES & THEORIES. It isn't ready yet. It has to be ready in June for a Brentano's ad. I'll get one as soon as she has it ready.

Sent $5 for A GUIDE TO FAIRY CHESS - 2ND EDITION.
