WEDNESDAY 18 MARCH 1970 77th day - 288 days to come

At the office rcd. a long distance call from Mike O'Toole. He is the president of Agon games and I met him last year at the stationery show. He test marketed his games in Cleveland last year and they did very well. HE wants to go national and asked my suggestion for a rep. The only ones I could think of were Gary & Reidel, and Bob Reiss. He know both of them. I told him about AGOG and he said he'd get a copy. He'll also send me copies of CUBES, NODDLE, and PSYCH-O, for reviews. I told him about VECTOR and its similarity to PSYCH-O. He'll look into it. He told me of an article his accountant found which states that the inventor of SCRABBLE was allowed to count 90% of the royalties as capital gains. He'll send me a repro of it. In Agon games one of the partners is a patent attorney and one (I think) is in advertising. Mike owns some res- taurants in Cleveland.

Called "Sally Kovalchick" and told her what BB learned from Edith the librarian, that AGOG is not on the list of books that branches can order. She said she'd check on it, also on whether a third printing is imminent.

Thinking of the possibility of changing the name of SEARCH to INFERENCE.

Mail strike started today, so no mail.

Finally completed putting the Toy Fair into the diary.
