TUESDAY 17 MARCH
St. Patrick's Day 1970 76th day - 289 days to come
Rcd. the game NAVAL ESCORT and also a letter from "D.W. Darr,"
president of the "Darr Corp."
Rcd. samples of CARD CUBES and OPINION POLL from S & R,
but without the rules!
Spoke to Claude and Arthur and set up a meeting of
NYGA at Poultron Press office. Called Jim Dunnigan after
12 and checked it with him. O.K., it won't be used that night.
He also said that if Arthur and Wald are interested in using
it after they see it they should talk to him then.
Went to Brentanos in the villiage looking for SERIOUS GAMES.
They didn't have it. Also they didn't have ACQUIRE
in the 3M games. I spoke to the clerk and she wasn't sure
whether it was on reorder or not. She said, however, that
the card games were doing very well, and VENTURE was the
best of all.
[crossed out paragraph]
Rcd. the bulletin from GAME-OF-THE-MONTH (N.J.). CHUTZPAH
is this month's selection. They also have NORTHWEST PASSAGE.
